A Relaxed Summer
A new wallet, dollar payments, and many tour planning improvements. That's what The Pack has been busy building over the summer.
As we all know, summer is a time for relaxation and disconnecting.
Especially in the live music sector. *record scratching sound*
No it isn't!
And just like the tour managers, artists, crew... who've been spending long days on the road to make us enjoy summer festival delight, we have also busted our behinds to make The Pack better.
Here is a list of updates we're excited about:
π°The Pack Wallet.
We now have a wallet that makes making payments easier.
Details to follow in a separate post.
π΅ Dollar payments
You can now pay and receive payments in dollars (on top of Euros) without conversion fees, provided you have your own dollar account.
ποΈ Updated planning
2 big changes here:
- The home page of The Pack now gives you an overview of the combined planning of all your brands. This allows you to see what all your brands (for example the different artists you're managing) are up to.
- Contract planning is now split out in 2 parts: the planning (indicate the days on which this person works) and the agreement (the rates per day type). This allows for more custom combinations.
πͺ Prep days
We added "prep days" as a day type to the tour planning possibilities. Hat tip to Tour Director Mathias Cobbaut for making this request, as this is crucial for large and complicated tours!
π Copy day configuration
When planning your tour calendar, you can now copy the day configuration of the previous or the next day. Huge time saver when you spend 7 days rehearsing in the same venue!
β»οΈ Re-use agreements
If you often work with the same crew members, chances are your agreements with them differ little between tours. That's why we made it possible to re-use agreements. You can choose from any previous agreement you've made, handily categorized for you.
On top of all of the above, we rolled out a bunch of smaller features and fixes to improve the experience of tour managers and crew on The Pack.
